A free tier that's always there, with simple optional hosting
We're committed to always keeping a free tier — your gateway is never locked out, deleted, or cut off for not paying. However, to ensure the high uptime of our gateway devices and maintain robust security, we incur ongoing costs for hosting and advanced cloud services.
To cover these expenses, we implemented a $5 one-time license total for 1 gateway device. This license allows you to flash your device anytime without recurring fees. The free tier's update interval may be adjusted over time to keep things sustainable as we grow (it's moved before, from 20 minutes down to 1 hour) — but it will always be free. If you want more real-time data right now, optional paid tiers go from $2/month (15-minute updates) up to $30/month (30-second updates), all included free during your first 30 days.
These fees cover real hosting and infrastructure costs, nothing more. As the user base grows, pricing may evolve to match the cost of running the platform at that scale. If you'd like extended free access or a discount code in the meantime, contact us directly — requests are read and answered personally.
